wow… how did you get here? I’m almost impressed. as the title suggests, welcome to the first post on this strange little website. after some careful thought and a rather substantial re-organisation of my personal wardrobe, I have ventured into the internet in the form a blog (my new favourite word) to contribute my spaghetti-like amalgamation of fashion tips, tricks and hacks to anyone who is willing to listen.

for context, I live in the countryside in the United Kingdom. I am not a fashion insider, I do not work for the fashion industry, nor do I have any formal qualifications in this field. one of my favourite things in the world is digging through a gross (and often times wet) pile of clothes at the car boot sale, in the hopes that I’ll find a hidden gem. this website was merely created for my personal (and yours, if you so wish) amusement. I aim to share what to look out for when sourcing clothing, what the average thrifting diva misses when searching for vintage, and how to maintain garments of various compositions in order to wear more sustainably. nevertheless, I hope you find some use (or laughs) from my posts.
